In this age of concern over carbon emissions, and global warming, it makes sense to keep our internal combustion engines in tip top condition, and the key seems to be using Restorer Oil to clean up the exhaust which in turn prevents the EGR valve from getting stuck open (poor running and high particulate emissions eg black smoke), and stuck closed which overheats the engine and can ruin turbo seals and can crack cylinder heads.
